WHAT TO EXPECT

BEFORE SERVICE

Come as you are. A friendly face will welcome you at the door. Enjoy a cup of coffee and snacks. Off-street and on-street parking are available at the corner of E Franklin and 3rd.

DURING SERVICE

Service starts at 11 am on Sundays and lasts about an hour. A typical service includes music, prayer, Scripture reading, and an encouraging message from Pastor David.

AFTER SERVICE

Feel free to hang around and talk with people. When you're ready to leave, you'll usually find Pastor David at the door wishing you well. We also host a church luncheon once a quarter.

Which entrance do I use?

The main entrance is located on the south side of the building facing E Franklin Street. Come through the double glass doors. Usually one or more greeters will be available to welcome you and answer any questions. The main sanctuary is upstairs. The nursery, children's area, Missions cafe and bathrooms are downstairs.

Is there a nursery?

A nursery room is available on the lower level. You will need to accompany your little one, as the room is unstaffed. For your convenience, the nursery is equipped with a rocking chair, changing table, extra diapers and wipes. The nursery also has books, toys, and a play table for toddlers.

Where do I sit?

Feel free to sit anywhere you like! The main sanctuary is located on the upper level. The space is intimately-sized padded chairs arranged in rows of three seats and five seats. Don't worry about sitting in someone else's "spot". Our regluar attenders are happy to make room for you!

Will I be called out in any way?

No. While there is no way to get "lost in the crowd" at North Church, we respect your right to decide how you want to engage with people. You will not be asked to stand and introduce yourself. Occasionally, Pastor David includes "fellowship time" in the service schedule. It's up to you if you want to get up and mingle or stay seated and wait for the service to continue.
